A training and team-building event for the team in Warsaw.
Three days, 120 people from several countries — an internal event with external ambitions, because it wasn't only the team flying in. The investors came too.
Make the three-day program — the keynote, workshops at the Google for Startups Campus, the hackathon, the evening party — look and work as one whole that says what kind of company Zowie is.
Visual design and branding of the space, welcome packs, badges, new team merch, hackathon prizes — every touchpoint considered. Not vendor coordination, but building an event that communicated the brand in every way. I also ran a photo session that let us shoot portraits of people from other cities, and from the US and elsewhere in Europe, who weren't at the Warsaw session.
A real surprise and a very positive reception — from both the Zowie team and the investors. One of them, an investor from Gradient Ventures, flew in, jumped into the hackathon alongside participants and judged the final results.
A short call and a concrete idea for your first move.
